The Job Fair was opened today in Pristina, where domestic and German companies will present around 1 thousand free vacancies.
Minister of Commerce and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami said that this is a very important event. She said that the government will constantly offer concessions for investors in the aspect of the rule of law in Kosovo.
Ejup Gojnovci of the German-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce told IBNA that German companies have expressed their interest in employing a large number of young people from Kosovo.
“There are around 900 vacancies. This is a confirmed figure. The majority of companies in this fair need workers. There are companies which have demanded 30 to 40 workers”, he said.
Meanwhile, Vllaznim Kelmendi of the Union of Albanian-German Businesses demanded from institutions in Kosovo to work in order to offer concessions for foreign investments.
“As far as investment environment is concerned, we have been told that there are positive movements, but this is not enough. I think that several bureaucratic procedures must be eliminated in order not to complicate the business environment”, Kelmendi said. /balkaneu.com/
