As of today, the State Election Commission in FYROM will publish the names of over 39 thousand voters who are suspicious and have been contested. Based on the amendments approved in the Electoral Code, this category of voters will have 25 days to verify and prove their right of vote.

Silvana Boneva, member of SEC said that the procedure for the verification can be done electronically, by addressing to the State Election Commission, but also by appearing in regional units of the Ministry of Justice.

Member of SEC, Bdredin Ibraimi said that among these voters there’s a high number of citizens who live abroad.

“They can appear and verify their information in diplomatic centers outside of Macedonia”, Ibraimi said.

SEC will send letters to all of these people to inform them on the procedure of verification. This operation will be monitored by representatives of each party. At the end of it, the list of people who have been verified will be published. /balkaneu.com/
