Ministry of Finance will allocate 4 million euros to municipalities and these funds are part of the funds which have pardoned by Italy from the debts that Albania owed to the neighboring country. Arben Ahmetaj said that the money will fund local investments.
In total, the Italian government has pardoned to Albania 40 million euros worth of debts. For the Italian ambassador, this program is a model of success.
“Since 2013, we have funded 42 projects amounting to 15 million euros. From the completed projects or those which are nearing the end, we can see that concrete objectives have been reached, offering direct benefits for the citizens”, the Italian ambassador said. /balaneu.com/
