For the first time ever, Albania participates in the September fair “Jata Tourism Expo” in Japan. The number of countries participating in this fair is 140.
Albania’s presentation in this fair is another excellent opportunity to promote what Albanian tourism offers in the Asian market.
In the Albanian booth, National Agency of Tourism presented the tourist potentials of the country, focusing on what interests the Japanese tourists, such as culture, history, archeological sites, tradition and outdoor sports.
In this important fair for the industry of tourism, Albania is participating along with Montenegro and Serbia, in order to present the joint tourist packages for the Asian market.
General Director of NAT, Ardit Collaku says that during the summer months there has been a considerable rise of Japanese tourists, who have been interested to see Albania’s heritage sites, which are part of the UNESCO list.
Collaku said that great efforts are being made to organize a familiarizing trip in the months to come with journalists and tour operators, who will be able to get to know Albania closer and get to know its tourist potentials. /balkaneu.com/
