UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon has prepared a report for the period from 16 April until 25 July 2016, which focuses on the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The head of the UN says that the agreements reached in the talks between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels are not being implemented.
Ban Ki-moon launches criticism toward the talks between Kosovo and Serbia, saying that neither of the sides have made progress.
For this part of the report, Kosovo’s minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri sees positive and negative sides. She says that “this is the first time that Ban Ki-moon talks about both sides, because before, he has only criticized Kosovo”.
Former deputy Prime Minister says that the UN is not well informed on the situation in Kosovo and relations with Serbia.
“It looks like Ban Ki-moon has constantly had a lack of information about the Brussels’ dialogue, because this is the first time that he speaks on both sides. In the past, he has criticized Kosovo alone. I’m glad that that he is now informed on both sides”, Tahiri says.
Ban Ki-moon ends his term in office this year, after remaining at the head of UNO for 10 years. /balkaneu.com/
