In a meeting held last night in Tetovo, Democratic Union for Integration has decided on the conditions that it will negotiate in order to participate in the new government. This party is expected to start talks with VMRO-DPMNE of Nikola Gruevski after the latter was mandated to form the government.
“The making of the Albanian language an official language, the extension of the mandate of the Special Prosecution and the speeding up of European Integration process, are some of the key issues for which BDI will not tolerate during the talks with whichever Macedonian party for the creation of the new government”, the spokesman of this party, Bujar Osmani said. According to him, BDI has not preferential parties among the Macedonian political camp.
Meanwhile, it is not known when negotiations between parties for the creation of the new government will start. VMRO-DPMNE’s leading committee gave the green light to its leader, Nikola Gruevski to start talks for the creation of the government. Gruevski must form the government until 29 January, otherwise, the leader of opposition, Zoran Zaev will be mandated to form the government. /balkaneu.com/
