Croatian national football team is ending this year on the 19th position according to FIFA’s 2014 ranking, so with 946 points the ‘Blazers’ maintained their last month’s position.
On FIFA’s December list there were no changes among the 23 world’s best team, with the best still being the world champions Germans, who are in the lead ahead of Argentina and Colombia.
The best-placed teams in the Croatian qualifying group for Euro 2016 in France is still Italy, which is on the 11th place.
Bulgaria is still 66th, Norway 67th, while Azerbaijan remained in 135th place.
The worst place belongs to Malta, which however, jumped 19 places and currently shares the 147th place with Turkmenistan and Madagascar.
Croatia must close a section of its ground for their next Euro 2016 home qualifier, as an UEFA imposed penalty for fans’ racist behaviour and crowd misconduct against Italy.
Croatia sits on top of qualifying Group H with 10 points, the same as Italy, nut with better goal difference.
