Government of Kosovo has approved a bill which extends by 6 months, until 15 April 2017, the payment of debts that people owe to public companies and institutions.
Minister of Finance, Avdullah Hoti said that based on the information gathered, total debts are over 900 million euros and so far, 40% of these debts have been pardoned.
“The biggest success in the implementation of the law has been achieved by the Taxation Directorate and Kosovo Power Corporation. Given that several public companies have not been that active on collecting debts, I propose for the deadline to be extended for another 6 months until 15 April 2017”, Hoti said.
PM Isa Mustafa said that this is an offer for all of those who have debts. /balkaneu.com/
