Court of Arbitration for sport in Lausanne has not taken a decision on Arian Ademi, football player of Dinamo Zagreb and FYROM’s national team, who has been suspended for four years, as he resulted positive in the doping test that he was subjected to in September 2015.
Ademi has appealed against his four year suspension and he was waiting on a decision to be taken in the recent days. Ademi resulted positive in the doping test after the match that Dinamo played with Arsenal in the Champions League in 2015.
For this, in November 2015, Uefa suspended the player for four years and this is the biggest penalty ever handed. Dinamo appealed the decision, but the Uefa Disciplinary Committee confirmed the four year suspension. After this, Ademi’s case was transferred to the International Sport Tribunal in Lausanne.
Arjan Ademi insists that he has not been aware when he consumed the forbidden substance and that he has consumed it by taking Megamin, which has been contaminated with stanozolol. Ademi is believed to have proved this in an independent lab in Cologne, Germany. /balkaneu.com/
