The steering committee of the Macedonian Football Association has rejected Mirsad Jonuz’s candidacy for the head of this association. Jonuz, who is a former known player, has been nominated by the Football Association in Tetovo in the meeting held during the weekend.
The Association’s steering committee said that this meeting was associated with many irregularities and the statute of MFA has been violated.
MFA has started the process of elections for the new head of this institution and so far, the only candidate is the current chairman Ilco Gorgioski. The election of the head of the association will take place on 18 February. But, Mirsad Jonuz said that he will continue to seek justice and that there have been no violations in the procedures for his nomination. /balkaneu.com/
