EU ambassadors have called on the government in FYROM to be formed as soon as possible.
“I am optimistic that politicians will find a way to come out of the political crisis by taking a decision which is in the best interest of the country”, said the EU ambassador to Skopje, Samuel Zbogar, who has started a tour in the main cities of the country to promote the project “EU for you”.
Meanwhile, the Dutch ambassador to Skopje, Walter Plomp has also called for the new government to be formed.
“Holland hopes that a government will be formed in order to make reforms and show responsibility. The new government must also support the Special Prosecution and all other factors must support it in order for it to conduct its activity in an independent way”, said ambassador Plomp.
These messages come a week after the visit that the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn held in Skopje, but the commissioner was unable to help in overcoming the crisis and the creation of the new government following the 11 December elections. /balkaneu.com/
