President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has received the Director for Western Balkans at the European External action Service (EEAS), Angelina Eichhorst.

President Thaci said that he’s happy that Kosovo and the EU have established institutional cooperation together and thanked her for the support given by the EU for the institutions of Kosovo.

“Kosovo is determined for its Euro Atlantic future”, President Thaci said.

“NATO and the EU are Kosovo’s only destinations”, he added.

Meanwhile, director Eichhorst said that she was happy with the cooperation between Kosovo and the EU and the achievements in important domains.

President Thaci also demanded for the EU not to allow for Kosovo to remain isolated and to lift the visa regime as soon as possible for the citizens of the country.

“It is sad that as a result of the domestic political developments in Kosovo, the citizens of the country must suffer and remain isolated”, president Thaci said. /balkaneu.com/
