Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri has sent a letter to the European Union asking the Union’s institutions to stop Serbia’s interventions that harm Kosovo.
The letter says that Serbia is aiming to destabilize Kosovo by violating the Brussels’ agreements.
“I have regularly informed you on a number of negative developments in the recent weeks, which aim at destabilizing the situation in Kosovo and the region. In my opinion, Serbia is withdrawing from dialogue and is coming back to its old mentality by throwing bombs, building walls and arbitrarily arresting citizens of Kosovo”, minister Tahiri’s letter to Brussels’ officials says.
Tahiri has asked the EU to consider this situation seriously and to intervene in order to preserve the spirit of dialogue for the normalization of relations, otherwise, the consequences would be unpredictable.
A similar request has also been addressed by president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci during his visit to the US. /balkaneu.com/
