The European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo’s visa free regime, Tanya Fajon had once again encouraged Kosovo today that it must ratify the demarcation agreement with Montenegro in order to give way to the visa free regime.

“I would like to offer you support for the demarcation process. I invite MPs not to stop these processes. You must do everything you can to ratify the agreement in the coming days”, Fajon said in the Summit of European Foreign Parliamentary Committees taking place in Pristina.

Fajon said that Kosovo has made great progress in the recent years.

“The Stabilization and Association Agreement is an important achievement. This success must be accompanied with the reforms which aim at delivering the European agenda. The implementation of priority reforms will make Kosovo stronger and a safer place to live. It is important to finalize the process for the liberalization of visas and we are committed to make this a reality”, Fajon said.

Present in this summit are representatives of the European Parliament and parliaments of different European countries, heads of international and national institutions in Kosovo.  /balkaneu.com/
