The second round of talks for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia will be held on 1 February.
In this meeting, Kosovo’s delegation will be led by PM Isa Mustafa and President Hashim Thaci. meanwhile, the Serb delegation will be led by PM Aleksandar Vucic and president Tomislav Nikolic.
Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri says that besides topics such as the Association of Serb Communes, this time the two delegations will also discuss the finalization of the dialogue which would follow Kosovo’s recognition by Serbia.
Tahiri also said that she expects “this meeting to contribute for the implementation of agreements that are yet to be implemented and for the sides to pledge on an effective and prompt implementation of the agreements waiting to be implemented, especially the one on power supply, justice system and association”.
Meanwhile, as far as the requests of the opposition to suspend dialogue, the minister said that “the fact that the political dialogue in Brussels continues is very important”. /balkaneu.com/
