Authorities in Kosovo say that around 25 thousand new jobs are expected to be created this year and this figure is expected to reduce unemployment under 20% as opposed to the current rate of 26%.
This was the pledge of Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, who said that this year, economic growth would be 5%.
The creation of new jobs in Kosovo is not mission impossible, but for this, there must be institutional readiness, representatives of the business community say.
The head of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu says that the improvement of conditions in the private sector, namely of the industry of production, has the potential to increase the number of employees.
