Hungary says that it’s determined to offer a strong support for the former Yugoslav republic of Montenegro to become a member of NATO.
The Hungarian Minister of Defense, Madarske Csaba Hende said during a visit in Podgorica that Budapest has strategic interests in the accession of Montenegro in the NATO.
“Hungary is ready to help Montenegro in its path toward NATO accession”, said Mr. Hende.
Hungarian Minister of Defense has signed in Podgorica an agreement of cooperation with the Montenegrin Minister of Defense, Milica Pejanovic Durisic (photo).
Mr. Hende considered that signature of the memorandum between the two ministries as a historical event. According to him, this is a good basis for further cooperation between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the Montenegrin Minister of Defense, Milica Pejanovic Durisic said that Montenegro and Hungary will collaborate in many domains based on the signed memorandum. She added that this agreement is an encouraging element in the development of future projects between the two countries. /ibna/
