British ambassador to Skopje, Charles Garett declared that nobody must dare to prevent the justice system from doing its job.
Garett made this comment following the latest moves of the Special Prosecution, which has started an investigation on the Secret Services regarding the wiretapping affair.
“I would not like to comment on the details of the investigation, but I would like to stress that the work of the Special Prosecution is very important, as it aims to discover who carried out the surveillance”, the British ambassador said.
According to him, the four leaders of the main political parties in the country agreed on the creation of the Special Prosecution and this was unanimously backed by parliament.
“Nobody must prevent the work of the Special Prosecution, because if these allegations are not solved, there can be no sustainable solution of the political crisis”, said the British ambassador to FYROM. /balkaneu.com/
