KFOR commander in Kosovo, Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, declared today that Kosovo is not a target of terrorism any more than the other countries of the region.

“I believe that this threat exists in all the world and I think that this is a specific threat, but also a global one and Kosovo is not a target of terrorism any more than other countries”, he declared.

Figliuolo also talked about last week’s case, when several people were arrested at the lake of Badovc on suspicion of terrorism.

“From what happened last week, I can say that Kosovo police has done an extraordinary job in preventing this act”, KFOR commander to Kosovo said.

Figliuolo issued these comments in Decan on the occasion of the inauguration of a bridge of this commune.

A few days ago, four people were arrested in Pristina on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks in Kosovo and FYROM.

Kosovo police declared that in cooperation with partner countries such as the EU and USA, it has taken all measures to prevent terrorist acts by different radical groups in the country, who are collaborating with terrorist organization ISIS. /ibna/
