Mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, while former KLA commander, Sulejman Selimi has been sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The decision was taken today by the Court of First Instance in Mitrovica.

The two former leaders of Kosovo Liberation Army, Lushtaku and Selimi have been transferred in jail after the ruling.

The court ruling states that Sami Lushtaku was found guilty, as in 1998 he took the life of a person.
