After failing to reach an agreement for the creation of the government between VMRO-DPMNE and BDI, the European Union declared that president George Ivanov is now expected to hold urgent talks with political forces in the country and appoint a leader for the creation of the government.
This was stressed today by the European Commission’s spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic, commenting the latest developments in FYROM after the failure of Nikola Gruevski to form the new government.
She said that the country had no time to waste.
“We saw that an agreement has not been reached yet for the creation of a new government and for this reason, we call on all players in the country, including the president, to act in a constructive way and with full responsibility to address this situation. The country has no time to waste and for this, we expect the president to hold urgent talks with political parties in order to appoint a leader for the formation of thwe government”, Kocijancic said. /balkaneu.com/
