The European Union has declared that it is waiting the formation of the new government in FYROM. This stance follows the decision of the president of the country George Ivanov to mandate leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski to form the government.
“At this point, the only thing I can say is that we’re following the situation closely. As we have said in the past, we’re expecting the creation of a stable government. We also expect the solution of issues that relate to the rule of law, the implementation of key reforms and of political agreements that have been signed”, declared the European Commission spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic.
According to her, the EU will continue to support FYROM in the process of integration and the delivery of reforms. /balkaneu.com/
