Government of Kosovo and that of Austria are negotiating in order to scrap double taxation, in an effort to encourage the intensification of business between the two countries.

Minister of Finance of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti went to Vienna to negotiate a deal with his Austrian counterpart, Hans Jorg Schelling and other senior officials.

Hoti said that talks are being held to scrap double taxation with Austria and the possibility of attracting Austrian investors to Kosovo.

He also spoke of the Austrian aid for the citizens of Kosovo. “It is time to boost bilateral financial cooperation between the two countries especially the Agreement on the Low Interest Loan between Kosovo and Austria. The projects which are funded through this loan are making the life of the citizens of Kosovo easier.

Austrian Minister of Finance, Hans Jorg Schelling expressed his readiness and the readiness of the Austrian state to strengthen economic cooperation with Kosovo. /balkaneu.com/
