Kosovo’s national football team has been defeated on Sunday by Ukraine 3:0 in a qualifying match for the 2018 World Cup which will be hosted in Russia.
The match was played in a neutral stadium in Poland, given that Ukraine, which was the host, has not recognized Kosovo.
This is the second defeat in a row for Kosovo in the past three days, following the one on 6 October in Shkoder, where it was defeated by Croatia 6 goals to nil.
Kosovo is in Group I along with Finland, Ukraine, Iceland and Turkey. This is a fairly difficult group for a new team without much experience internationally, such as Kosovo. /balkaneu.com/
