International officials in Kosovo have expressed their concern about the PISA results in Kosovo. The EU office in Pristina has reacted about these results, suggesting Kosovo to seriously consider these results.
“The results that were published yesterday about the Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) showed that out of 72 participating countries, Kosovo ranks among the three weakest countries. While we praise Kosovo’s participation in PISA, the results of this first effort are concerning and must be treated seriously”, says the EU office.
The European Union demands crucial and urgent reforms in the domain of education.
“The PISA results show the performance of high school students in Kosovo. These are an important indicator of the efficiency of obligatory education system and a credible projector for the future of education. Given these poor results, prompt action must be taken”, says the EU office. /balkaneu.com/
