Antonio Milososki and Rafis Aliti MPs have been proposed for the post of the vice speaker of parliament in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, while the third vice speaker will belong to the opposition, which is boycotting the legislative institution.

Two names have obtained the green light by the parliamentary committee for appointments, while they’re expected to be voted in the next session.

Antonio Milososki is an MP of the largest party in power, VMRO-DPMNE and former minister of Foreign Affairs. Meanwhile, Rafis Aliti has been proposed by Albanian party BDI (Democratic Union for Integration), who used to occupy the same post during the last parliament.

The third vice speaker belongs to the largest party of the opposition, namely, Macedonian Social Democratic League (LSDM), which has decided to boycott parliament.

Speaker of parliament, Trajko Veljanovski said that the election of the third vice speaker will be made in the near future, once the opposition decides to occupy its seats in parliament. /ibna/
