“Our Classroom” directed by the Vladimir Milcin has been considered as one of the four best shows in the former Yugoslavia countries. This prize has been allocated in the international festival “Joakim Inter Fest” in Serbia.
The head of the jury, the prominent Serb director, Goran Cvetkovic, gave this prize for the theater troop in Skopje, praising the Macedonian director Vladimir Milcin for the perfection of the show, which according to him, astonished both the public and the jury.
“Milcin is one of the oldest and the most prominent directors in Macedonia, but also in the former Yugoslav countries. His show deals with history and is based on true events taken place during the World War 2 period in Poland, when violence and deportations of Jews were taking place”, declared Cvetkovic. According to him, the three other directors that have impressed with their shows are Oliver Frlic, Andras Urban and Egon Savin.
“Our Classroom” show is still in the repertoire of the children theater and the show is based on the drama by the Polish playwright Tadeus Sloboganek. /ibna/
