Rron Qena has opened an exhibition in Belgrade called “What you believe in”, in the framework of ‘Baustelle Balkan’ that links artists from Belgrade, Pristina and Zurich.

His paintings were inspired from his traveling in the fields of Albania and Serbia and from the people that he met during his travels.

“I believe in what I see and then, I try to paint it”, Qena said during the participants in his exhibition in Belgrade.

His exhibition will remain open until 5 August and then it will be open in Pristina and Zurich.

Rron was born and raised in Pristina. Through his expressionist paintings, he used the contemporary stage of Kosovo art as the main element.

His works have been sold internationally and have been exhibited in different European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Leipzig and Berlin. /ibna/
