Kosovo’s Special Prosecution, in cooperation with the Police have identified and arrested six people, suspected of the attack against Parliament, occurred on 4 August 2016.
The arrested people, which included a woman, are: Adea Batusha, Atdhe Arifi, Astrit Dehari, Egzon Haliti, Petrit Ademi and Frasher Krasniqi, said their lawyer, Tome Gashi. The wave of arrests came following an intensive investigation with special techniques.
Court of First Instance in Pristina granted the prosecution’s motion and issued a search warrant for six locations in Pristina. Six people were arrested in these locations and two others were taken in for questioning.
The search also led to the seizure of three machine guns, two pistols and a rifle (photo). Authorities also found ammunition and other material evidence that relate to the bomb attack against the Parliament of Kosovo.
In the August 4 attack, material damages were caused against the parliament building and several official cars were demolished. /balkaneu.com/
