Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa has met in New York with the head of the EU diplomacy, Federica Mogherini.
Present in this meeting was also the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci and the Minister of European Integration, Bekim Collaku. The meeting between Mustafa and Mogherini talked about Kosovo’s European integration processes.
PM Mustafa briefed the head of the EU diplomacy that Kosovo is marking a general progress and that the government of Kosovo is determined in advancing its reforms.
PM Mustafa also said that the government of Kosovo is committed in advancing Kosovo’s integrating processes, demanding the finalization of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo.
“We demanded the readiness of the European Union to sign the Stabilization and Association Agreement as soon as possible and also grant the visa liberalization regime. We will deliver 5-6 criteria which are still remaining and we are convinced that all technical criteria will be met by us and the only thing remaining is the political decision”, Mustafa said.
PM Isa Mustafa also thanked the EU chief of diplomacy Mogherini for her support in Kosovo’s integrating processes.
On her part, Mogherini praised Kosovo’s progress in the EU integration path.
Yesterday, PM Isa Mustafa also met with the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, who also expressed his support for Kosovo’s EU integrating process. /ibna/
