Albania is ready to welcome Italian enterprises by allowing them to rent properties for a symbolic price of 1 Euro perpetually.
This was declared by prime minister Edi Rama during a meeting with Italian entrepreneurs in Milan.
Italian media report that Rama has declared that, “We’re ready to welcome entrepreneurs by offering them current buildings which need improvement, such as dormitories, military bases and which will be rented out for 1 Euro, regardless of the area. These contracts will last in perpetuity”.
Moreover he added that although there are at the present Italian enterprises in Albania, their number is not sufficient, especially in the domain of energy, underlining the fact that Albania has abundant water sources.
Premier Rama said that the last government left a lot of corruption and lack of modernization.
As far as the potentials of Albania are concerned, Rama says that, “It’s a rich country, beautiful and young, it has oil, minerals and a lot of water. Agriculture is little developed, therefore it has a lot to exploit. Above all, it’s a country with sunshine and a beautiful coastline, which is little developed”. /ibna/
