Two parties of the governing coalition in FYR Macedonia, VMRO-DPMNE and BDI, still enjoy a big support amongst citizens in the country. This has been the result of the survey published and conducted by the Institute for Political Studies ‘Dimitrija Cupovski”.
According to this survey, if early elections are held tomorrow, the two biggest parties of the coalition and their leaders, Nikola Gruevski and Ali Ahmeti enjoy most of the support.
According to the survey, 32,9% of the citizens have supported VMRO-DPMNE and 14,8% have supported Social Democratic League of Macedonia-the biggest opposition political force, 8,6% support the Albanian party in power BDI and 3,7% support the biggest Albanian opposition party, PDSH.
The other Albanian party, RDK has 1% of the support.
As far as political leaders are concerned, the current prime minister and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski enjoys the biggest support with 26,7% and behind him is the leader of the opposition party LSDM, Zoran Zaev with 7,5%. Menduh Thaci is supported by 3,8% and the head of RDK, Rufi Osmani by 1%.
