A massive protest was organized last night in Skopje by the “Multicolor Revolution” with the presence of the Macedonian opposition. Protesters have attempted to ruin “Prometheus” monument in front of the parliament building, but they have been stopped by special police units.

As a sign of revolt, protesters have attacked police with different things. The Ministry of Justice building has been attacked with stones and paint which symbolizes this revolt of civil society called “Multicolored Revolution”. Protesters have broken the windows of this ministry, changing “You will not escape prison, Gruevski”, “Justice”, Criminals, leave”, etc.

Activist Pavle Bogoevski reiterated their demands by saying that the citizens must be part of the process of talks, for the Constitutional Court to support Special Prosecution and not obstruct its work and for a special Criminal Tribunal to be established in order to handle all cases of the Special Prosecution.

Vice chairman of SDSM (Social Democratic Union), Radmila Sekerinska said that the people are fed up and that Gruevski can no longer control it. “There’s no more fear in Macedonia. Fear was present in every home, but now it is only present in one family and it will remain there. Gruevski is scared and he wants to turn people against each other, but he must be clear of the fact  that this will not happen. This crisis has a solution and this solution is justice and responsibility. Those who have stolen must be held accountable”, Sekerinska said. /balkaneu.com/
