A letter which was sent by the municipality of Zubin Potok to the State Election Commission had the “Republic of Serbia” inscription in it. For Adnan Rustemi, this action is a provocation, but at the same time, also a “product” of the agreement between Thaci and Dacic.

Municipality of Zubin Potok has addressed an official letter to CEC for the replacement of two members of the local assembly of this municipality.

But this letter contained the inscription “Republic of Serbia”.

Member of CEC from Self Determination, Adnan Rrustemi says that such action not only threatens the integrity of Kosovo, but it’s also an open provocation against Kosovo.

“A letter has arrived to CEC with Serbian symbols and “Republic of Serbia” inscription, demanding the replacement of two members of the assembly. This municipality is also bringing Serbia’s personal documents to identify the persons in question. It’s a provoking action and openly threatens the integrity of the Republic of Kosovo”.

He has also addressed political accusations: “This is without any doubt a product of the agreement between Thaci and Dacic. This is the Republic of Edita Tahiri and the political talks between Thaci and Dacic, where the northern communes function as institutions of the Republic of Serbia”, said Rustemi.

Meanwhile, the spokeswoman of the Ministry for Local Government Administration, Lumnije Demi says that every document issued by a commune which is against the law on local self governance or the law on state symbols, is considered invalid.

“If a document or an act of the commune contains symbols against the law on local self governance or state symbols, our ministry considers them invalid”, said Demi. /ibna/
