A decrease by 14.0% in the Volume Index of Retail Trade in Greece was noticed in July 2013, compared with a decline of 9.2% recorded in the corresponding comparison of 2012 to 2011.

Greece’s National Statistics Authority (ELSTAT) also announced that the Turnover Index, including fuel, fell by 14.2% in July 2013, compared with a decline of 8.1% recorded in the corresponding comparison of 2012 to 2011.

With fuel excluded, the Turnover index showed a decrease by 14.4%, compared with a decline of 8.5%, recorded the corresponding comparison of 2012 to 2011.
