The vice chairwoman of the largest opposition party LSDM (Macedonian Social Democratic Union), Radmila Sekerinska declared today that the party in power, VMRO-DPMNE of Nikola Gruevski is not willing to accept a technical government because it fears the citizens and it fears a loss of the election.
“They know that if free elections are held, citizens will punish them”, declared Sekerinska.
According to her, in the meetings held with citizens in several cities of the country, citizens have expressed their concern about the difficult social situation and the problems that they face in their day to day living, due to the low wages and low living standards.
“There hasn’t been a house in Shtip and Kocan where we haven’t heard the same comment ‘someone must save us’. This is why we have been committed in our political battle to save the citizens of our country”, says the vice chairwoman of LSDM, Radmila Sekerinska. She has also reiterated the fact that the opposition will not return to parliament and that it insists on the formation of a technical government and the holding of fresh parliamentary elections. /ibna/
