Representatives of tens communes with a Serb majority in Kosovo, have issued a statement where they say that they “no longer accept Serb MPs in the parliament of Kosovo as representatives of the Serbs of Kosovo”.

“Our communes suspend every contact and cooperation with members of the Socialist Movement in institutions of all levels in Kosovo and Metohia, because this political organization is the main protagonist in the effort to destroy the Serb political union in Kosovo”, says the statement of the Serb mayors after a meeting held in Zvecan.

They say that “Serb MPs in the parliament of Kosovo have not defended the national interests of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohia” and according to them “ they have lost their legitimacy”.

In their statement, they also say that they do not accept the appointment of Mirjana Jevtic in the post of the minister of Local Government, replacing Lubomir Maric. /balkaneu.com/
