If the crisis with the refugees returns, there must be a full engagement of state capacities in the same way it happened with the first wave of refugees, says FYROM’s Interior minister, Agim Nuhiu in the framework of the Salzburg Forum on Refugees.
According to him, in these circumstances, there may be a need for extra capacities to prevent illegal passage of refugees. In the southern border with Greece, the Ministry of Interior continues joint patrols with police forces of several countries of the EU.
67 refugees have been accommodated in the welcome center of Gevgelija, while 17 others have left last month. According to the Ministry of Interior, no illegal refugees have been registered in the first months of the year. /balkaneu.com/
