The largest Macedonian party, VMRO-DPMNE has hired a consultancy company which will lobby among representatives of the US government. Two cooperation agreements have been signed with Global Security.
One of the agreements amounts to 35 thousand USD a month, while the other agreement amounts to 140 thousand USD a month.
The contracts’ duration is from 1 December of last year until 30 April of this year.
The documents have been made public on 8 January and they have been signed by the current prime minister and general secretary of VMRO-DPMNE, Emil Dimitriev.
The contracting company is obliged to promote the party in power as a party which has an open governing style, with an effective leadership and managing practices.
Besides being promoted, VMRO-DPMNE will also receive consultations on development policies in the country and advices on the management of the refugee crisis.
This is the third agreement that VMRO-DPMNE has signed within a month with American companies. Last month, the party contracted New Partners for a fee of 54 thousand USD a month. For a period of six months, until the end of April, when the elections will be held, the party in power will pay 1,670,000 USD. /ibna/
